Communion
Communion with God is the ongoing practice of receiving strength from Jesus and responding to Him in every moment of life, not generating life from within but drawing it from His presence. It is a moment-by-moment awareness and engagement with the living Christ, where we continually redirect our attention to Him and depend on His grace. In this way, communion is how we live out our union with Christ—being strengthened by His nearness so that His life flows into ours.
Co-mission
Co-mission is living as a sent people—joining God in His work to seek the flourishing of the city and bear witness to Jesus through our work and our lives. It is recognizing that where we are is where God has sent us, and participating with Him in His purposes through ordinary faithfulness and intentional love for our neighbors. In this way, co-mission is how we extend the life of Christ outward—seeking the good of others and pointing them to the hope of the gospel together.
Community
Community is the shared life of koinonia—being known and loved as we walk in the light together, refusing to hide and instead telling the truth about ourselves in the safety of the gospel. It is a committed, relational environment where we practice knowing and loving one another through confession, presence, and shared responsibility. In this way, community is how we are formed into Christlikeness together, as our union with Christ overflows into honest, loving relationships with one another.
