At NewCity, we trust the inherent authority of Scripture and the Spirit's delight to work through His Word. As Tim Keller said, "Preaching should be biblical, clear for the mind, practical for the will, vivid for the heart, warm, forceful, and Christocentric. You should always preach Christ and the gospel from every text!" We add our Amen!
People hunger for sermons that are gospeliscious. In God's wisdom, He uses the folly of preaching to bring the lost home, strengthen His saints, and send His servants into our city to seek Orlando's flourishing.
Common Rhythm
What is the Common Rhythm? A people is bound together by a common love. Disciples of Jesus want to be formed into lovers of God with their whole selves and of their neighbor as themselves. NewCity's Common Rhythm is made up of daily and weekly practices that form us towards this double love. It is our common life for a common love.
NewCity Orlando utilizes a leadership structure of staff, elders, deacons, and deaconesses to ensure the church is cared for both spiritually and practically. While staff manage daily operations and elders provide theological oversight and teaching, deacons and deaconesses focus on acts of mercy and the tangible needs of the community. This collaborative model allows for a balance of visionary direction and hands-on service, fostering a healthy environment where every member of the congregation is supported.

Eat a meal with and for others.

Deny ourselves (food, social media, etc.) to hunger for God with others.
